MUSS Australia Chapter

Manav Dharam Society of Australia (MDSA) is the Australian branch of Manav Utthan Sewa Samiti, which was founded by Shri Satpal Ji Maharaj. M.U.S.S. is an all-India registered voluntary social welfare and charitable organization. Its primary function is to organize spiritual gatherings all over India and Nepal, at which representatives of other religious and social organizations, as well as political leaders, are also invited to speak. In addition, through its network of more than 3000 Ashrams and centres, it attempts to serve society at both the spiritual and everyday levels through a range of social service programs. MDSA has basically two objectives –

  1. To disseminate the universal teachings of spirituality by promoting and encouraging the spiritual, education and humanitarian teachings found in all the holy scriptures, and thereby promoting goodwill and brotherhood in all sections of the community.
  2. To provide aid and assistance, either directly or through recognised organisations, to those in Australia and elsewhere affected by natural calamities.
